Flight Refuelling Petanque Club

Flight Refuelling Petanque Club is a sub-section of the Cobhams Sports and Social Club  and is a member of the New Forest Petanque League.

 

The terrain is situated at Cobhams Sports and Social Club, Merley.

 

The Club meets on:

Tuesday mornings at 09:30am for 10:00am start.

Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm for 7:00pm start.

Thursday mornings at 09:30am for 10:00am start.

Thursday evenings for New Forest Petanque League

Sunday mornings at 10:00am for 10:30am start.

There is a full programme of competitions and events during the year and the Club runs an Open Doubles event. Club competitions are held for Singles, Doubles and Triples and a number of melees are also held, teams for Club competitions are selected by draw.

There is an annual Dinner and Presentation Evening, normally in February of each year, where the awards for the year are presented.

 

The  Members wishing to play in the League teams have to be registered with the New Forest Petanque League and are allocated or selected for teams by the committee. The Captain of each team selects the players for the league matches. Registered members are insured by the Club for playing in the New Forest Petanque League.
